CLIMATE

TEMPERATURE

It has a very particular microclimate, in which viticulture has developed from the valley of the Minho River and its tributaries, going up the middle of the mountain slope, overcoming the obstacles of terrain and altitude. The Alvarinho in this sub-region is little exposed to the influence of the sea and has, as one of the favorable conditions for its development, the temperature range during maturation, characterized by hot days and cold nights. This factor contributes to the protection of the aromas and to the persistence of the flavor, retaining its freshness.

VINE CONDUCTION

SYSTEM

Our plantations are divided into plots with a descending conduction system that is characterized by the vegetation of the vine facing downwards and allowing only partial sun exposure and also an ascending conduction system where it presents an ascending vegetation that provides great sun exposure to the bunches.
